How It Performs
The core of this terminal is the internal contact. We plate it with nickel-under-tin to stop corrosion, and the contact spring is designed to hold mating force steady even after thousands of plug-ins. The threaded body is what makes it tough-it distributes the load evenly across the panel, so vibration from a moving vehicle or a heavy compressor won't crack the housing.
Because the plastic body is UV-stable and flame-retardant, it won't degrade if it's mounted on the outside of an energy storage container exposed to the sun and rain. The sealed versions use an O-ring or gasket to keep moisture out, holding an IP67 rating.
